London, 9th September 2015 - Scholastic UK, part of Scholastic Corporation, the world’s largest publisher and distributor of children’s books, today announced the acquisition of Troubadour Ltd who trade under The Travelling Book Company.
The acquisition makes book fairs available on a broader basis across the UK and Ireland through the network of experienced Travelling Book Company agents and staff. Scholastic is committed to delivering quality, affordable books to parents and children to encourage more reading for pleasure, a key component of success at school and in later life.
